this laziness MUST stop!!!

so...here i am again...5 months later...so MUCH for me and i'm gonna blog more..blablabla...things are going to be more exciting around here...blablabla..lol..can we all say FAIL..hahaha..i think really...what its boiled down to all along...is...i..was..being..a..lazy...SOW..haha...OINK!!!

anyhow..i want that to change...summer is nearly done..well..what summer we've had anyways...i guess...to start off again..what i'm gonna do is a post with a picture from every month..starting with last march...which is the last time i actually posted...so...here goes :) !!!so..this picture here...is from my birthday party in march..i won't go into detail about the events of the evening...but you could PROBABLY imagine..considering..that IS a shot of tequila in my hands..hahaha

ok...so..if you can BELIEVE it...i have NO picture to post for the month of APRIL...zzzzz...im getting a little boring in my old age it seems...so...ON TO MAY!in may i got a new tattoo...on mah left foot...its a bird...if you can't tell...lol..you know..the whole "im little and i like birds" thing...right? lolthis picture from june was taken at my friend Angies house...i'm pretty sure that it was a party in honor of her bday :) ..goodtimes around the campfire...with good friends...good music...and a GREAT amount of jello shooters and beer..YUM!
in july...i got engaged...quite the rock huh? bahahahaha!
August has been a fairly good month so far :) !! this photo here is from the day i went to the zoo with my friend Sean, and his son Lucas :) !! we had the best time!!!!

i've been freezing now for 3 days...the wind has been sooooo cold...and my coats never seem to be thick enough....and my gloves never seem to be where i left them....the only saving grace is my new winter boots, and my little collection of winter hats...i love you winter boots and hats...i love you.

....because it reminds me of you...I'm not really sure WHY it reminds me of you...but i think it may have something to do with how warm and happy the sun makes me feel...and i like that...and when i think about things i like...i think about you...if you were here right now i know exactly what you'd say...and it makes me laugh....you would also ask me "why?"..and for now...I'm not gonna tell you, because, a little birdie just landed on my shoulder and told me it was time to go :)

so..my last published post was May 2...how time flies..i had almost completely forgotten about my poor little blog..well...not really..its amazing how things you used to enjoy get pushed down, and pushed away until they are hardly a minutes thought...anyhow..hopefully i'm going to start remembering all the things i used to enjoy so much, and get back to them...i'm off to work at the moment..damn midnight shift has been fucking with me for 3 weeks...tonights the LAST night..NO MORE..WOOO...that is all.

well..been a while again since i've posted..things have been a little busy around here..happy busy..and sad busy i guess you could say...i didn't post about this before but for the last little while i've had an aunt who was really sick in the hospital with cancer..My Aunt Verna..i was pretty close to her my whole life..my parents rented an apartment from her and my Uncle when i was a little tiny baby...she babysat me while i was growing up..and a few years ago I rented an apartment from her and my Uncle..strangely enough..it was the apartment right underneath the one i lived in when i was a little wee baby...anyways..last Tuesday my aunt lost her battle with cancer...my family and i have all been pretty sad..but...the more we think about it..the more we realize that she is way better now..no more pain..no more suffering...anyhow..the funeral service for my aunt was on Friday..it was a really nice service..some of her grandkids stood and said a few words...the music that the played was lovely..and the minister did a great job..I caught up with quite a few of my cousins that i hadn't seen in a while..one in particular that i was very happy to see..my cousin Shawna...she's my second cousin..and we're only 9 months apart in age..we used to hang out a whole lot while we were growing up...but seemed to lose touch once we turned 19 or 20...at any rate..we're going to try to keep in better touch..sometimes i'm bad for that....but i'm trying to get better :)

here is a picture of me and my Aunt Verna from a long long time ago...the quality isn't that great because i had to take a picture of the picture with my webcam....i dont have a scanner at home..and im already showered and in my pjs...and its tooo darn cold out to hike over to my moms to use hers..hahahahhmm..i guess the quality isn't as bad as i thought it might be..suweet..anyways..this picture was taken in April of 1984...i was 9 years old :) I always had a great time when my Aunt Verna was around..she was always so much fun and so full of great information..anything you wanted to know..Aunt Vern knew..i think there was only ONCE in my life that i asked her something that she didn't know the answer to...and it was only a few years ago...we were sitting outside on our front porch..and we heard this buzzz buzzz buzzzzz way up high in the tree...we got talking about the insect that makes that noise...and how ugly they are....we knew what they were called..and how to pronounce them correctly...but neither of us knew how to spell it..i think we spent about 1/2 an hour searching through a dictionary...then i finally went online and typed it in google...cicada...hahaha..we had a good laugh about that..anyhow..thats about all for now..as i said before..i'm all showered up and in my pjs..I'm going to work on another post right now...and then i'm hitting the hay!! here we are again...its friday..the beginning of another weekend...what to do...what to do?! hmmm...I'm feeling a little bit tired and under the weather today..i've been having the SHITTIEST sleeps..tossing...turning...waking myself up by snoring...yes..i snore..i may have said it before..and i'm saying it again..i snore.s.n.o.r.e...its not my fault though..i have a nose problem..i was born this way..hehehe...my dad had the same nose problem..he had a few operations..which i believe involved having his nose broken and his nasal cavaties scraped....NO THANK YOU :) My nose is stupid enough as it is...it doesn't need to be broken..nope...sure doesn't...anyways..i don't really have a whole lot of anything to post about today..no crazy pictures...no fun stories..just me..yammering on...and on...and on..s'ok though..yammering nicki..is better than no nicki...right? that is what i thought..hahaha..i'm doing some laundry right now..and thinking about maybe vacuuming and dusting my place..it should be done...but i dunno if i feel like it....it seems to me that cleaning is a little tooo much like work...i'd much rather just sit here...surf the intertron..shop online...drink my coffee and smoke 500 cigarettes..yes..sounds like a plan :)...its settled..i'm going to spend the afternoon procrastinating :) yippeeee..I've become addicted to a website..its FULL of cute wallets...bags..t-shirts...buttons...and TONS of other stuff :)

i think i'm getting old...

...had a fairly quiet weekend this weekend...i've been working a lot the past little while..combined with 2 hours of driving everyday pretty much...i'm pooped...i think i had a total of 3.5 pints of beer this weekend...what the hell?!?!?

friday night i was sooooooooo looking forward to a good night out on the town...good food..good beer..good friends...lol..i got through the good food...(steak special friday at frugals)...yum..steak..baked potato..mushrooms...parsnip...super...good beer....3 pints of carlsberg...GET IN MY BELLAY...and then...here is what happened...10:45 pm...i'm sitting at the table...talking to a few friends and the head starts going...i was nodding off to sleep at the table...WHAT?!?! :( that was it..i went home..what an embarassment..ahhahah....what a party ANIMAL!!!!....*sigh*...maybe 3 years ago...its over..i'm old...over the hill...out of the loop..FINISHED??!?!! ;)

So..yeah..that was my friday...saturday night was even LESS eventful...although..i had a great night..went to the pennywhistle pub with a friend of mine..we had a drink and played a game of scrabble...only one though...i was way toooo sleepy to play anymore...(i dont think i mentioned that i was up at 7:30am Saturday morning)....what the HELL is with that? where are my days of sleeping in?...no getting out of bed until at least 10am...no even opening my eyes before 9:30am?..oh wait..i guess that happens mostly when you're NOT OLD...and NOT USED to getting up with the birds everyday....*sigh*

Sunday turned out to be a pretty good day..(i was up at 730am again...of course)...went out for breakfast with a friend, then spent the rest of the day with my mama...we went shopping around town..got some groceries...and then i came home and just chilled for the night..did some laundry..made my lunch for today and went to bed nice and early..anyways..no pictures to share with you from this weekend...hopefully i will be out on the town and in FINE form this coming weekend..and hopefully i'll have some fun to share with you all :)

Well..im outta here..have some running around to do before i come home..have a hot bath...make a cup of tea, and retire for the night...(i almost put and take out my dentures to soak them for the night...but im not THAT old yet...heheheehhe)

another weekend, and another night out on the town..lol..this weekend a whole group of us headed downtown to a place called The Albion to check out some bands...the one band i've mentioned on my blog before..they're called The Speakeasies..and they ROCK..you betcha..check out their link...give them a listen...and if they ever play in your town...or you're ever in my town when they're playing..GO SEE THEM..i MEAN it..or ELSE..umm...or else something....that is all i'm gonna say about that..hahaha...so..anyways..friday night was a blast as always..we were out with a good crew and had a ton of laughs :) Saturday night was pretty chill for me..just hung around home and watched a movie...u me and dupree or some shit like that..it wasn't good...it was actually pretty terrible..and i don't recommend it at all..lol...today was good as well..hung around being laaaazy..had a bath..puttered around...watched some football..the game is still on right now..i placed a small wager..i dn't wanna talk about it tooo much right now..because it might jinx me..lol...sooo. *ziiiiiip*

Also, i just wanted to let you all know that my favourite artist has a few shows at the moment...go check out his website and you can see all his new work...i'm soooo in love with it...sooo in looooove!!! anyhow..going to watch the end of the game and then head off to bed..i have an early day at work tomorrow...oh yeah..i never told yas..im working on a new project at work right now..working in a different town setting up a new store...tres excitment...lol..sucks that i have to drive more than 3 minutes to get to work though...its a 35 minutes drive there, and with the traffic it takes me about an hour to get home..boohoooo...ok..i'm off..check out both links in this post..it will make you happy..i'm sure of it!!

what a friiiiday!! wooo!!

ok, so its now tuesday...and i'm actually getting around to posting my weekend blog..you have to admit..i AM getting better...hahahha...so, friday night, i was SOOO excited to be going out..you know..with my bestest boy friend in the world being back in town and everything..hahaha...a whole bunch of us went to a bar in town called Jimmy Jazz...GOOOOD times...let me tell you..there was a band playing called the Remnants..i don't have a website for them...so i can't link you guys to them...i'm sorry..i'll work on that...anyways...the tunes were amazing..the company was wicked...and the pints were going down like water..you can only imagine that craziness that ensued...right? thats right...i didn't really take a lot of pictures on my camera..BUT..my friend Brian...who is as much of a shutterbug as i am...(or maybe even more)...was kind enough to share with me his pics from the evening..lol

its been a good week...

and it just keeps getting better!!! wahoooo!!! lol i'm a little excitable this morning...Last night..i was out for a bite and few pints with my friend Nate..good times..we went to Frugal McDougals..for anyone who reads this blog...AND lives in my city..go there..eat..your belly will love you for it..and your tastebuds..anyhow...after Frugals, we headed over to Doogies..it was soooo busy!!! So...i was standing there..drinking my beer...and decided to check the other side out..i turn..start walking...and someone comes up and grabs me from behind...i turn around and its DRIVER!!!!!! Yesssssssss guy!! He's BAAAAAAAAAACK! Driver has been living in Texas for the last little while..things have been kinda quiet around here without him...i'm thinking that things are about to change..and relatively soon..lol ALSO..most of you probably don't know...but a few weeks before christmas..my best friend Mike moved out to Calgary..I was pretty bummed about it..and was actually thinking of going out there for a little while to hang...well...ANYWAYS..Mike is BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK too! yes!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!! I'm so excited! Mike and i have THE BEST times whenever we're out..or doing whatever we do...so that is another thing that has made this week so great :) Tonight i'm heading out with a few friends and we're going to see a local band play..should be good times!!! The goal tho, is to not remember in the morning...(is that bad?) hahaha...ok..i have to go, get ready for work..i just wanted to share my hapiness with you all..hahaha
