well..i've FINALLY picked up my crocheting AGAIN..yes
..it is true..i was sitting here thinking just a while ago..that i've been reading an awful lot the past week...almost every spare minute i've had i've spent it on my book...and my head keeps pounding and pounding..i figured i should probably give my poor eyes a break from the small print..tv is bla..and there isn't much else going on..so what the heck..i've been working on this afghan (sp?) now for ummm lets see...nope..i'm not gonna tell you..its embarassing..maybe i might finish it by the time i turn 50..that gives me 20 years..i should be able to handle it..here are a few pics. :)

Now we can harass you about working on it. Looks pretty.
Very pretty. I have spent hours, literally, wandering around Michael's (rip off I know)carrying a childrens learn how to knit or crochet book, complete with needles and all the trimmimgs. I always end up putting it down. You've inspired me, maybe next itme I'll take the plunge and buy it!
thanks guys!! and i've been working on it off and on for..umm..maybe 3 years....(shhhh)..i'm a very busy lady...*rolls eyes*..haha its actually very relaxing..u can crochet in candle light..listening to your favourite cd...u can sit and visit with friends..while you crochet...u can watch tv and crochet..most things you do while you are relaxing..u can crochet at the same time..well..except for taking a bath..and a few other ones..that i won't mention here...:P
oh..and also i'll tell you..i only know the single and double crochet..so basically..i can crochet straight lines..maybe i should put out a line of my own scarves...haha it should only take me 8 months to finish one..haha
That was like a poetic crochet commercial Nicki. Might even inspire me to pick up needle.
