the weekend of fun...friday night.

..well..i have finally recovered a little bit from the weekend..sunday in bed sure helped quite a bit...:)

andie came to guelph to visit me on friday night, and we went out to a few of my favourite places..the first place we went to was a pool hall that i have hung out at since i was about 14ish...my dad hung out there a lot..and i actually worked there for a little while..waitressing and tending bar :) it was fun, i like it..but i actually like drinking and playing pool there SO MUCH MORE!!! anyways..here are some pictures of the festivities!!

hey!! i'm ALIVE!!! barely...but i am..i had a really fun weekend...but it has made me LAAAZY..i've barely been outta bed today..right now i'm watching the shining..i LOOVE that movie...anyways..i'll be back either later tonight or sometime tomorrow to share with you all my weekend of fun :)

i didn't get up to all that much tonight..went to my moms and had my hair colored..i like my hair dark..and it had faded just a bit toooooo much for me...as always..here are some pics of the night :) this is the before pic:)this is my color of choice..l'oreal superior preference #3...(fade resistant MY ASS!)...notice the toothpick..hahahaha it was minty...mmmmm

last night i went out and played some pool..ate some fries and gravy...and drank some beer..it was much fun..i had fun for me..and i had fun for andie..because i said i would..here are some pics.

my desk toys..and other favourite things :)

ok..so here are a few close-ups of the toys i keep on my desk..and a few other things in my space that i love sooo much :)
this is baby wobble-head turtle.
mama wobble-head turtle...i like these two cuz whenever i get typing..they just kinda sit there and look at me..with their heads wobblin' up and down and round and round..they make me giggle.
my dala horse..a very good friend of mine gave this to me when i was a whole lot younger..i couldn't exactly remember where he got it from...at first i thought it was germany..but after some research..i figured out it was from sweden..i hope i have this wee horse forever :)
this is one of the first origami frogs that i made..so i keep it on my desk..i make a whole LOT of origami frogs..hahaha they are the only thing that i can make right now out of my head..without looking at a pattern...if anyone is interested in owning one of my handmade origami frogs..feel free to email me yer addy...i have a whole bunch :)
here are a few of my favourite things...all in one picture..we have a couple of pens from my pen collection...the big yellow one quacks when u press his belly...the blue bear and the frog are just really really cute..and really really soft....there is also my pickle people finger puppets....and the pottery piece that i keep them all in is one of the first pieces that i made when i took a pottery class is '98.
this one here is a stained glass jewelry box that i made my gran for xmas in '92..when she passed away my mama gave it back to me.
these are two of my most favourite books in the world..i've read Charlotte's Web i dunno how many times...and when i was little..and had my first loose tooth..my mama and my dad gave me Bruce's Loose Tooth.
this is all that i have left of my kitty Basil..i sure do miss him...:(

now....last..but definitely not least...one...yes..one of my stationary boxes..i'm a little bit of an addict...hahaha.

lounging on the couch all day...watching movies..and eatting cookies is NOT a good thing to do when you have to go to bed and sleep because u have to be up at 5:30am...grrrrrrr.
*don't get me wrong..the cookies WERE great..and i enjoyed the movies as well...but SHIT man..i really wouldn't MIND being able to sleep..hahahha

my friday night.

well...there was a few things that i could have done tonight..different offers from different friends..but the best offer i got was from this friend..
some of you may know him...some of you may not..he's awfully nice..and i always have a good time when we get together..even tho i'm sitting around home...rockin the pjs...no make-up..wild after bath no blowdry hair...life is good :)...limit of 2..because i don't like to drink alone..hehe

tuesday...is the new monday.

uuuuuugh!! i'm soooo tired today!! it was all i could do to drag my sorry little ass outta bed..sleep was not my friend last night...she didn't come around til at least 2:30....(might have something to do with the fact that i was hopped up on brownies...) hahahaha

now this is a night well spent.

so..i was BORED tonight..bored bored bored..and..umm..craving something sweet...(what else is new)...so i decided that i would call on my good friend Betty..and whip something up..here is how it went.

alright..i was tagged..by Mel..so here goes...3 things that i do that no-body knows about.

1. i have a pawprint of my cat that i had to put to sleep last year on NYE that is made out of clay, that the vet mailed to me two weeks after he was put down..and i sleep with it under my pillow..because i miss my cat a lot.

2. i used to color-co-ordinate my closet..up until about a year ago...all the white shirts together..all the black shirts together..and so on..then i decided that i was a touch obssesive and i messed it all up..and its stayed that way ever since.

3. i use two different towels everyday for my shower..(my mom says this isn't normal and that it just creates extra laundry)..i dunno why i do it..but i just do??

now i have to tag 3 people...hehehehe...muuuuaaaahahahahahhahahhahahahaha

dot dot dot

today has been a pretty crappy day...(other than buying my still un-named fish)...i have been feeling anxious all day....dizzy..and basically just sketched out..when i'm in this state..i do things sometimes without thinking...things...that i should probably do ALL the time..but i dunno...don't really have the "courage"...or the...(fuck dunno what the word is i'm lookin for)...to do..on days like this i tend to go inside myself a little bit...and really think through everything that is going on in my mind..in my life and in my heart.

i wonder why..that when I actually do this...act on some feelings..or thoughts that i'm having...it makes me feel sick to my stomach..maybe it has to do with the fact that i know deep down inside that the feelings and thoughts that i am having are true...and because i have acted on them..i am going to have to deal with the consequences....and actually face something that i don't want to face..and deal once and for all with everything that goes along with the actions i have taken?!?!

very cryptic...i know.
